All classes begin with a Power-Yoga inspired work out. Not only does this strengthen and tone the body for tumbling but also teaches it to bend and be flexible. Acrobatically benefiting our extensions, back-bends and full-back-splits. Training equipment available, including squish mat, cheese wedge, and training belts as well as knowledgeable, experienced spotters on hand.
A fusion of ballet and jazz- an emotional outlet and an excellent class for self-expression. Turns, jumps, leaps, extensions- all done with balance and strength as you tell a story through your dance. Using the body to create beautiful lines and shapes. Visually pleasing to watch and defined perfectly by Martha Graham as "the hidden language of the soul".
This class is for 3 year olds or those turning 3 within the dance year. It is a loosely structured class introducing the kids to a social environment and helping them learn to work with one another. We learn waiting our turn, raising hands, Simon Says body movement, role play to story-telling music and rhythms. Great way to introduce child to studio and instructors before they actually start a more structured dance class. Lots of fun! High energy, guaranteed to wear your child out!

Introducing the mind and body to movement by social interaction, group "play", counting steps, listening, parachute games, and fun music! All classes begin with a gymnastics warm-up and basic tumbling skills. Then, the class proceeds to do a bit of ballet and/or jazz dance.

This class is not only invigorating, but of course, it is also relaxing and calming. Research shows that Yoga can reduce wrinkles, can improve skin's elasticity and glow, can eliminate toxins in your body that produce fat cells, can help you sleep better, and you'll even find yourself having more energy with noticeable stress reduction!
Our baton class is a mentor-like experience taught by majorettes or former majorettes from the surrounding schools in the Morgantown area. We have had MHS Alum Majorettes, including head majorettes, Suncrest and South twirlers as teacher assistants and looking forward to new instructors every year to help us master the art of twirling and fill us in on what is required for try outs and auditions.
Extension of Jazz class, often hip hop will be explored within a jazz class, but one can take a complete hip hop class as well. Savannah is an exceptional choreographer and hears music very well. She has received many awards for her choreography.
